The Principal Engineer, Industrial Software (Software Architecture) takes charge of developing industrial software for the robotic products developed by the company, with the same kind of agility that defines and differentiates PBA from any other. He/she provides technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship. Key Responsibilities

 

• Leads the software development for robotic products
• Analyse, document software requirements and architect a software design accordingly
• Provide field support during equipment installation and upgrade
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the Engineering team by establishing good practices and habits

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in design, development, test and debugging of real-time multi-threaded applications
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of leading a team of software engineers to successfully complete complex projects
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming using C++, C#, .NET technologies
• Hands on experience on software projects using web services (SOAP, REST), HTML, JavaScript and web development frameworks (Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, jQuery)

The Senior / Sales Engineer is mainly responsible for executing sales & marketing initiatives, engaging new customers, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts in order to bring in revenue for the Precision Robotics Business Group.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

To achieve and/or exceed sales and profit margin targets in assigned growth location/segment/customers, key responsibilities include (not limited to):

• Development of sales strategy and implementation of the tactical plan.
• Identification of key/target accounts/industry segments.

RACE Academy, a PBA Group company (www.pbarobotics.com), is an independent training academy committed to the education and promotion of robotics, automation and digital manufacturing technologies. RACE provides an experiential platform for grooming deep technology talents.

Given our experience training adults through the SG United Programme, RACE has gone on to establish RACE Juniors in 2022. RACE Junior seeks to groom young minds on computation thinking in a fun, practical environment. It will cover coding and robotics for young learners (Primary and Secondary levels) with STEM activities, tapping on our strong Engineering expertise.

As the Centre Admin, you will be part of an exciting, passionate team and will be primarily responsible for day-to-day front desk receptionist duties. You will provide support to the centre’s operations and general administrative work.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

1. Assist with the day-to-day services/admin activities of the centre. This includes
a. Finance: Assist in the collection of school fees, reconciliation of finances and so on.
b. Administrative: Assist in admission procedures, class scheduling and liaison with customers.
c. Operations: Assist in inventory planning.
d. Others: Maintain proper documentation, administration, filing of invoices/receipts and maintaining the general tidiness and cleanliness of the centre.
2. Function as RACE Junior’s ambassador as one of the key contact points with parents and customers regarding RACE Junior programmes, fees, replacement classes etc. This also includes
a. Working with the team to respond to enquiries including telephone calls, walk-ins and so on.
b. Processing student enrolment, class rescheduling and other class admin issues.
3. Administrative duties and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

RACE provide training for adults and is committed to the education and promotion of robotics, automation and digital manufacturing technologies.

RACE is expanding our Industry 4.0 and robotics and automation training to young learners through our dedicated kids’ education arm of RACE, called RACE Juniors.

RACE Junior provides coding and robotics programmes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years old. To ensure programmes are fun and engaging, we integrate STEM into the activities that are curated by us.

• Facilitate coding and robotics classes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years old
• Follow RACE’s framework for class facilitation
• Facilitate both online synchronous learning and offline face-to-face classroom learning
• Assist in classroom and freelance trainer scheduling as well as resource planning.
• Monitor and track the progress of young learners and provide support to young learners

The Project Engineer interfaces between the customer, sales and the engineering team to ensure successful project delivery. He/she leads and manages a Project Implementation team to implement projects according to specifications, on time and within the project budget.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and draft project plans covering budget, resources and timeline for all projects.

·      Negotiate and finalize customer requirements and project specifications and manage customer expectations.

·      Monitor project execution process and manage a project team to ensure timely implementation and completion of projects.

Requirements

1.      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or related engineering field.

2.      3+ years project management experience preferred.
